Hello again, here is where you’re going to get to know a little about me as a wedding photographer.
My interest in photography started many years ago when i was given an old film camera by my father, from what I can remember it was an Olympus OM10 along with a 50mm lens.
With my love for photography I knew that Mum and Dad couldn’t afford to buy and develop the film I was using, so from a very early age I had a paper round which would enable me to save my money to buy films and develop my images, then when I had enough money I would then go with my dad to buy a new (or second hand!) lens or flash. One lens I had wanted for a long time was a very big zoom lens, something like a 500mm zoom, this lens was so big that i could hardly lift it!
From then on I have had different kinds of cameras with different subjects to shoot. One passion that I had which was also shared by my family, was the little old mini, this became a family business, myself and my brothers and father woumark arstrong photographyld restore these little cars and take them to shows and then be off in our element to photograph all the mini’s I could. This is something that I still enjoy to this day.
As I’m photographing a wedding, I like to be very discreet, this way of shooting your wedding allows you to see the things you perhaps missed on the day. My unobtrusive, warm personality enables my couples to be themselves, to relax and enjoy their day with friends and family, without being stressed out by a pushy photographer with a flash in their face.
My photography is driven by real interactions and moments that I observe on your wedding day. I don’t rely on trick lenses or gimmicks in Photoshop to make boring compositions
interesting. I find emotion, light and colour in that order and translate them into a beautiful record of one of the most important events in a couple’s life. My experience as a photographer enables me to capture these photographs in high pressure and dynamic environments.
Please contact me if you like his approach to photographing your wedding and discuss your photography and tell me a little about your wedding day requirements.
