It was more than just a camera; it was the opening chapter of a lifelong quest to capture the world through a lens. Recognising the limits of what my family could afford, I embarked on a paper round. Each coin saved was a step closer to another roll of film, a new lens, or a cherished piece of equipment. Among these, a 500mm zoom lens stood out, a behemoth too heavy for my young arms, yet it symbolised the lengths I was willing to go to chase my passion.
A Family Affair: From Mini Cars to Major Moments
My family shared a collective passion—not just for photography but for restoring the iconic Mini. This venture turned into a family business, with my father, brothers, and I breathing new life into these classic cars. We would take them to shows, and I, armed with my camera, would capture their restored glory and the vibrant life surrounding them.
